Request for Recovery Former Employee Emails

Purpose/Scenario

In the event an employee leaves without being able to forward important emails, or an important email is missed, IT may be able to assist in locating the missing emails.

IT will only respond to requests that come from the department head. 

Non-department head requests will be cancelled.

Needed Information

The department head will need to provide the following information:

  • The name of the former employee
  • The subject matter of the emails
  • Time frame the emails were sent or delivered
  • If possible, recipients or senders
