Turning off email forwarding varies by the version of Outlook you are using.
If you’re using the New Outlook or the web version of Outlook:
- Open Settings by clicking the gear symbol in the top right corner.
- In the window that pops up, click Mail.
- Click Forwarding.
- Toggle the “Enable Forwarding” switch to off.
- Everything under “Enable Forwarding” should disappear.
- Click “Save”.
If you’re using the Classic Outlook:
- In the top ribbon, click the Home tab.
- Click “More commands” or the three dots.
- In the window that pops up, click “Rules”.
- Click “Manage Rules & Alerts”.
- Click the rule that is forwarding.
- Choose “Delete”.
- Click “OK”.
- If you have any more confirmations, click through until they’ve applied.
