Setup and Enrollment:
To make the setup process easier, we recommend beginning from a computer. During setup, you will be prompted to scan a QR code with your phone. Please download and install the app on your phone before getting started using one of the links below:
Duo mobile for Apple devices
Duo mobile for Android devices
Once the app has been downloaded, please go to your computer, login to Microsoft using your university account, and follow the set-up process as outlined below.
- When you are prompted to the set-up process, you will see the following screen. Click “Get started.”

- Select Duo Mobile as device type.

- Enter your phone number, check the box below agreeing to Duo Mobile sending you text notifications, and click “Continue.”

- Verify your phone number. If correct, click “Yes, it’s correct”. If incorrect, click “No, I need to change it” and repeat step 3.

- If you have the Duo Mobile app download, click “Next.” If you don’t have the app downloaded, please do so at this time.

- Scan the QR code on your phone.

- The Duo App should open and show this on your screen. Hit “Save”.

- After hitting save, you should see the following in your Duo App:

As well as this screen on your computer:

Click “Continue.”
- You will be prompted to add another device, click “I don’t want to add more devices.”

- The following should appear, confirming that you have successfully finished setting up Duo. Woohoo! You can now authenticate into your account!

If you need to continue to your account, click “Login with Duo” and proceed to login.
