Setting up email forwarding varies by the version of Outlook you are using.
If you're using the New Outlook:
- Open Settings by clicking the gear symbol in the top right corner.
- In the window that pops up, click Mail.
- Click Forwarding.
- Toggle the "Enable Forwarding" switch and enter the email you are forwarding to.
- Click Save.
If you're using Classic Outlook:
- In the top ribbon, open the Home tab.
- Click "More commands" or the three dots.
- In the window that pops up, click "Rules".
- Click Manage Rules & Alerts.
- Click "New Rule".
- Under "Start from a blank rule," check "Apply rule on messages I receive." Click Next.
- Under "Which condition(s) do you want to check?"
- Do not select any conditions or edit the rule description in steps 1 or 2.
- Select "Next".
- Select "Yes" to This rule will be applied to every message you receive.
- Under "What do you want to do with this message?"
- Under Step 1: Select action(s), select "redirect it to people or public group" and "stop processing more rules".
- Under Step 2: Edit the rule description, select the "people or public group" link.
- In the Rule Address dialog box, under Address Book, select the contact list that contains the email address you want to forward to.
- In the "To" box at the bottom, enter the email address you want to forward to.
- Select OK.
- Select Finish, select Apply, and then select OK.
If you're using the web version of Outlook:
- Open Settings by clicking the gear symbol in the top right corner.
- In the window that pops up, click Email.
- Click Forwarding.
- Toggle the "Enable Forwarding" switch and enter the email you are forwarding to.
- Click Save.
